lol...I've been saying that for 1 year now...and its finally in the making. lol Yeah, that's the engine outta the white 64...its a 292...the 292 in my 66 will be going in the 64 later on...I have plans for that engine as well... Thanks brotha!!!

Dang man. I'm liking your truck. I grew up in Grants Pass myself. My dad had a white '65 long bed with a 292. That thing would put a whippin on my '62 with a 283 in it. Love those motors.

Neat. What kind of a cam did you end up going with?
BTW, a note for other 292 fans; the LPG pistons are still available. I had read in the past several times that they were out of production, but they aren't; Summit has them for $256 a set. Just search Sealed Power 980P; the last two digits after the P will be the overbore (980P20=.020", etc.). |

Dropped the engine off at the machinist today! Should see it done sometime late November. AH!!! Its so close its scary! And the wait......... So...anyhow....Got a ton a parts on order....Summit Racing is a great place for parts...heck..orders over $99 free 2-4 day shipping! Well....updates a coming soon! Hey all! Been awhile since I updated...Anyhow...My engine should be back from the machine shop sometime this coming week. Getting super excited.
