Heres some shots after everything was mocked up - and then I tore it all down to paint the frame - Dont think I ever put these up on this site yet.

Impressive! I've never seen through bolts used to hold the caps in place. Maybe all aluminum ones do?
Good looking center section.

Yea I love the look, but they wont be on for long - Just my roller wheels for now, but they will be up for sale in the future if youre interested.

Fronts are 15x8 wide and the rears are 15x10 wide. The bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5" ---- yea its FORD!

Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build

I've gotta say that I think our group (47-59 Trucks) has got some of the best looking builds going on at this entire website!!!! You guys are really doing some nice work on your trucks! Congrats to you all --- Too bad none of those other guys drop in to see all our good work, they're missing out!

Anyway... I got some more work done on my chassis. The rear end is in and looks pretty good, just needs the brake lines and calipers and then I'll have a complete brake system. I'll start getting some "Blood" (oils and fluids) into the mechanicals of all these systems, first with the brakes.

Next Im waiting on the transmission to show up and the "Heartbeat of America" will be going in Next!!!!

THanks!!!! The Wilwoods are good deal from a local guy I found here in SAC let me know when you want them. These are the smallest of the 12" rotors and they still hit the 15" daisy wheels, so I cant even use these wheels as ROLLERS....

All good here - families all well and starting out their new years with all sorts of things, we are still looking for that little home to call ours... (with a shop) we have looked at quite a few, but alot of junk out there for a $500K price tag! I guess thats just CA for ya.... I dont mind a "little" renovation project, but Im not building a new home... again, been there done that already and Im just too old for that stuff. But we are stuck here for the time being with our little grandkids all located here - gotta be close by to watch them grow up. It all happens pretty fast. This is our littlest one, Grandson Lucas trying to grab onto Papa's hand!

The truck chassis is all ready for the drive-train to go in, just waiting on another guy with a tranny!!! well actually a converter design and the trans and then we are ready to drop it in.

My shop is a wreck right now with trying to pack everything, all the wet weather we've been getting, I had to bring everything inside to store it out of the rain and cold, just running out of room! See pics below.

The cab bottom is all done and blasted and ready for some paint and undercoating, then it goes on and the whole thing will get wired. Ive got everything pre-layed out and just has to be installed thru the cab and out to all the connection points. Hope to have it running before we vacate the place here so it will be trailer-able and just drive on and off at the new place.

Thats about it - thanks for asking! sorry to yack yer ears off, Ive been cooped up for a bit. Hope alls well on your end of the world - ? and Happy New Year to you my friend!
