Thanks for the info looking at the f body pan vs the stock truck pan it did not look like it was going to be above the crossmember glad someone has crossed this bridge before me

workin' away on the hood this weekend. got some filler on it, primed with a few coats of high build, blocked, and sealed up with some more epoxy primer.. ready for paint.

Had a good weekend and managed to get the hood painted and cleared. I have a lot of time in that hood and it still needs a few more hours of wet sanding and polishing, but I think it turned out pretty good...

then I just had to see it in the truck so....then I cleaned up all the trim best I could. going to need some new stuff like the grill opening, and hood/eye brow trim... but hey, it looks good from far...
