Thanks! It only took like 3 days for them to get here. I took them to the tire shop today and ordered new rubber. Should get them back tomorrow.

Those wheels fit the truck style much better than the set before. Fantastic!

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Thanks guys. I like these so much better. The others wheels were nice but the truck needed to be lowered a lot more than I have it to make them look right. The other wheels I got on trade and thought I might make them work but Don gave me the bug when he showed these wheels on his build. I just could not do without them.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
It will be charcoal gray to match under the hood. I am also painting the door panels and the rear inner fenders charcoal gray. Maybe it will look ok.

Mounted the passenger seat today. Also ran the wires from fuse box to the seats. Now I have power seats.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Thanks guys. Chad that thing is so light in the rear it will hardly backup the hill in the shop. I am going to have to get on the stick if I plan on driving it to Clems.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
plenty of time... not to worry.
its more important to keep the quality high and stay the course. besides, worst case, roll her up on a trailer and hang out with us. the workmanship you've done will show how nice this truck is. |
