Thanks guys I will be moving the rear back brake lines as they are to close to exhaust. I have a local exhaust shop do some my exhausts. We built the ones on tootsie.

Thank you I will run the wiring with loom on it but I am just getting all the brackets mounted at this point so I can get it coated

yes they coat it twice.

Everything is mocked up and ready to blow it apart to coat. Putting air ride sensors on tonight and and moving rear brake lines then blowing it apart.

Do you change how they are vented at all? Or baffle the tank? I like the location, but can't deal with the fact mine pours gas out anytime I turn too hard to the right

I have two vents on my tank. I have never had that happen to me

There are stock tanks out there that have two vents. I will snap a shot for both of you to see. One will be the return line for the fuel injection. The others will vent out the bottom of the floor. I will take pics so you can see what I am talking about. If that do not have the factory vents drain the fuel and pull the tank. I would weld a bung on and vent it out the bottom.

It will be at brothers. These trucks came with extra tanks. I pulled this one out of a 1970 c10 short bed half ton truck. So they did come in half ton trucks.

Quick Napa search, '67 and '72 gas caps are different part numbers. Doesn't say if either is vented or non-vented but I bet that's the deal. I'll wanna go with the tank vent, just curious where it taps the tank, how the vent line is run and if there's any baffling involved. This thread is ready for some more pics anyways right?
