Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

I believe the rig in Longview belonged to board member BabyBlue's father.

That rig in Portland is beautiful, but a far cry from a project.

I read on another page that the owner of this truck wants to sell it. Anyone know what he wants for it?

I am not actively trying to sell it. It is in storage at this time. I hope to get back to it some day but right now other things are more important. Since I did not initate any of this please refrain from bashing me or the truck. Some of you have the skills to build something like this and some have paid like I did and know what it costs to have a pro do the work.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Not sure of the condition of it - but the price is right... [Chicago CL]

http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/1615397157.html

1971 Chevy Blazer with removable hard top. All glass inside hard top is in good condition. 2 wheel drive, rear wheel drive, 3 speed manual transmission on the floor. Interior bucket seats are in fair condition. Vehicle will run and drive. Brakes are in fair condition. Has original wheels and hubcaps. Has straight 6 engine. Body panels are in fair condition. Lower rocker panels need to be replaced. Front floor pans on driver and passenger sides should also be replaced. It has all the original painted bumpers, front and rear. This is a truck that could be completely restored back to it's original condition. Or it's a very good project for a custom truck. It will need body work and welding. The frame of the truck is in very good shape. It's solid and has mainly surface rust. No cracks or bends as far as I can tell.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

This one looks like a 4wd converted because of the leafs in the rear, but a good frame converted to 2wd and a really nice tub from what I can see would be a good deal for someone who could pick it up....especially if they're planning to bag it or custom frame it since the 4wd frames are set up better for going LOW>.....http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/1609467487.html

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

1970 2wd LS6 swap - http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/1634794145.html

Just out of the body shop is my 1970 factory 2wd Blazer. While in shop I had a 1968 front body clip installed
This Blazer has never had any rust and is a rare CST 2wd model. Body was removed from chassis then all was gone thru/rebuilt,it has all CPP lowering parts. All converterd to 5 lug and front disc. The LS6 motor was removed from a newer wrecked vette w/ just 15K and then converted to an auto OD trans. All electricals have been updated, has a digital Dakota dash also. Lots of other mods were done such as power windows, locks, air conditioning.cruise control. Interior has been done back to original CST interior but has all upgrades hidden except for the digaital dash. The chrome rims shown in pixs were just rollers for the body shop, It now has ZO6 staggered vette rims. Just needs paint and its done
$15K FIRM. The motor/trans swap alone was $10K
