I am digging it too! Now the question is, Do I drop the rear more? or Leave it as she sits? I am liking the rake, for the most part. But am curious how it would look 2 more inches down in the rear.

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

Anyone ever try a 275-70-15 on a 8 inch steelie on these truck lowered?

I want a TALL rear tire that will fit stock rear end and bed wheel wells

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

Usually I run the stock hubcaps and trim rings like I posted earlier in this thread, but sometimes if I'm doing a "hot rod" show or just want something different, I'll use these '65 Corvette wheelcovers.

Looks like a fuel door in the bed. Where is your gas tank and did you buy it or make it. Thanks Jeff

I just put on my new to me Boyd billet wheels and 245-70-16 tires. I think it dressed the old girl up nicely...

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

I ordered one tire from Summit mostly to see how it looked and to make sure their stats were right, and they were. This is a 235/70 R15. The tread width is 8.2" and is about 1" less then my 245/60's that are on there now, they are also about 1 1/2" taller. I was thinking about going that route all the way around but now I think I might see how a 275/60 will look on the rear. I was looking around and I just didn't care for the Cooper GT's. and I wanted something different then BF Goodrich.

I had 235/70/15s on 7" front with 275/60/15 on 8" rear with my 93 C1500. Thought dimensionally the same height (28") the fronts looked taller.

I am probably just going to go the same size all around. Makes it easier to rotate.
