Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride
Got everything taken off, made a dolly for the cab:
Haven't seen this for a while: Firewall is on it's 4th master cylinder, cleaned up pretty good! Parts are all over the shop, I need them to be on the truck!

My firewall looks the same. Only 2 master for me though. I'm debating whether to make a completely new firewall or patch a ton of holes. We'll see.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride
Finished up a few loose ends with the Cab, it's now at paint hope to see her back in about 2-3 weeks
Time to give the chassis her first bath and have some Engine Mods in mind as well.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride
As often happens here these build threads are about more than just the trucks we love and work on.
Last night my 21 year old daughter was involved in a high speed collision, the result of the other driver running a red light. We got the call no parent wants to get in the middle of the night and had to drive by the scene on the way to the hospital. Driving by a scene with 10-15 emergency vehicles (seemed like 150) will rip your heart out for sure. Glad to say she is home with only a busted ear drum (from air bag) and a very sore body. Other drive had a cut on his head and possible concussion, both are very lucky. Life is precious and being a parent is never easy!

Thank you Jesus that she's ok. And on parenting you're absolutely correct. I tell mine we always want to know where they are and when to expect them cause when they drive out my driveway, a piece of our heat and soul is rolling down the highway. Take care

Yes I'm glad to hear both drivers are relatively okay. I've had that call 2x. Luckily no serious injuries either time.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride
Thanks guys, a very young police officer (everyone seems to be getting younger these days) told us at the hospital that "God Saved Her". He said he could not believe she was not severely injured or killed after he pulled up and saw both vehicles and with the reputation of that intersection. Very high speed intersection and currently under construction as well.

I may need your old intake for my Trailblazer SS.
Thinkin' about camming it up a bit, to wake it up a little more! I probably should leave it alone, but can't seem to resist.
