Re: Show us you're seats
Just a heads up for anyone that is thinking of redoing their seat, there is replacement foam that is being sold by uhaul on ebay. Supposed to fit 90's model seats but I'm giving it a shot on the earlier frames.
https://m.ebay.com/itm/12548992-MFPG...pid=3009105136 Much better price at about $46 shipped than a couple hundred dollars. I did order one and received it today. It is bolstered a little and should be a great replacement for what's in there even if I have to do a bit of work to get it to fit right. |

Re: Show us you're seats
Love this setup. I've been debating on building full door panels but I don't want to drill holes for fasteners. Nice look just to upholster the original panel and give it some design. Is that a reworked factory bench?

Obviously the bottom replaced but top from 1962. The stadium seat pads were not stock lol.

Re: Show us you're seats
Kind of appreciate the simple look myself. This is the black vinyl pre-sewn cover from LMC.

Re: Show us you're seats
I like it for its simplicity! How was it to install? I am debating what to do for my bench seat now.

It’s not too bad. Take out the seat, take the back off, take the foam off, repair any broken springs, follow the directions. It’s easier on a warm day, the vinyl stretches better.

No! They said it was a glitch in their website. I spent a few hours scouring online looking for the good or bad reviews about the company and checked shipping cost prior to ordering. Today they stated company has never shipped ANYTHING free! I read reviews yesterday that others got free shipping and that’s what got them to order. I would have gone with the American Classic for more $ if that model shipped free. I expect them to refund my money right away! I attached the receipt they sent me....funny it shows vinyl...but not Torch Red?????? |

Re: Show us you're seats
That is unfortunate! They should honor your sale since it went through...then they should take it down on their website. It isn't like you put in a code, it showed FREE SHIPPING.
I would definitely ask for a refund immediately. In fact, I would call AMEX and tell them what is going on and you want to dispute the charge if they give you any problem asking for the refund. I would also let them know you will make sure you let the truck community aware of their practice. Oh and I checked and it is still showing $0.00 for shipping! |

Re: Show us you're seats
Kind of left a rotten taste in my mouth....I guess I could of argued and argued the point...demand to speak to so and so....
But would you really want what they might send you? I told them that their website still showed the same thing today and the guy didn’t seem too concerned. |
