Thanks!

I did some test fitting of some body panels and mounted the engine covers I got from ATP. These LS engines fit like they were designed to go in these trucks!! I can't believe how nice they fit it. I'm looking forward to getting back on this build, , . Here's some pictures....

They're off of a 98 Fbody. They work perfect with the ECE motor mounts. I've got an extra set if you need some.

Well I have the C4 DM in the Tahoe so the motor is 2" up and as far back as I could get it. I thin my friend has a set off a 99 Fbody motor he just bought so I might be able to try the fit. I like headers for hot rods but for something like what I built the Tahoe for I would rather have factory manifolds for heat and sound.

The 99's are bulkier. Try'em and let me know if they don't work.

Thanks Ronnie. How have your projects been coming? Here's some pictures of the completed bed floor. We'll sandblast it and primer it this weekend and then I can put the bed together. Here's a couple pictures of a car my buddy is painting. He's "practicing" with this color so he'll have it figured out when he paints the crew.......

They fit great! I have plenty of room for the steering and the pass side I can fit my hand between the firewall and manifold with out touching anything. Thanks for posting the pic that got this slacker thinking!

Black!! That is going to be a hard one to shoot if he does it assembled. Black is so hard to see after the first coat that trying to paint that PIG at once would be a challenge. Now if it is a solid black and does not have metallic in it then shooting the whole truck apart would be fine and as long as he keeps notes on just how many coats per panel it would blend fine.

My first time with black was on my Dad's Mercedes and it was Black Onyx Metallic, turned out great but boy was I nervous!

Rob, So when is the burb getting some Love? Seems like it is so close to being done!

Re: 67 SWB Crewcab....Building the Beast, aka Donkey!

Rob, here are the money shots So does the pass side look to be the right manifold for a 99 F-body? The drivers side is 2.5" opening and the pass side is only 2.25" and the 3 bolt flange is way different from each other. My friend also has the factory down pipes so I will check that and get the collectors as well.
