Re: Any other projects in your garage?
Nice to see what else everyone is working on. Here's a couple of my other projects. The 72 M&M Hearse I bought Super Bowl Sunday of 98 I've wanted a Hearse since I was 12. The 62 Catalina I bought in 01. It's the 4th 62 Catalina I've owned. I bought my first in 1971. The boat isn't mine. I just dragged it around for a while. We got quite a few comments while launching it at the lake. Oh, the 389 Pontiac motor in the game room? My wife wasn't home when I did that. Once she got home it was too late. It was a done deal.

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
Got me a toy to put together. 26 T modified. Originally was a touring. The old 4 door converts they called phaetons. Shortened to a twice door. A bit more room then a T bucket. Running a 302 and c4 tranny. Camaro diff. Short wheelbase. About 100". Buggy spring front and back. Still gathering parts and deciding how to hang the rear diffy onto the back end. Got to buy some new tools to build it. 2 ton engine crane and a stick welder. Been buying and trading parts. The big skins on the back got sold recently to buy some smaller tires.
Good fun for an old guy. Always wanted to build an old rod. I call it my bucket list. Gonna get her on the road before I kick the bucket. LOL!!! |

Here's my 65 nova wagon waiting for the truck to be finished... and a pic of my 65 4door that I'm swapping an lq4 and powerglide into. I swear I didn't plan on owning three vehicles from the same year!

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
Well not really the Garage because the garage is converted into a very small house that i live in but got a toolbox and a drive way if that counts?
Heres the newest addition (free)73' bug got about $500 in it at dmv and to get it running right and its now the ol'ladys daily driver: and the 1954 ford coustomline my first car that was a 4 door that i put a 2 door body on the 4door frame on going project: here you can see my garage/house in the back of this picture ....It's the size of a small aparment but nice size backyard and i get most the drive way that fit 4 cars atleast for $500 and its just ol'lady, myself and dog perfect for us and leaves budget for buying car parts

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
i've had this 62 unibody for a couple of years and in the process of a frame up build. it's a short wide custom cab with wrap-around back glass. the engine is a 65 mustang GT k-motor and its hooked to a later model column shifted 3-speed. i always like bringing an older project that's been hibernating back into the shop. it's like starting a new one all over again. currently we have 5 other projects either sleeping or just taking a short nap. 67 vw hotrod, 39 ford deluxe coupe, 64 vette roadster and a couple of 65 chevy trucks. staying busy...
