Hey VWNate,
I'll send you an extra cap I have laying around, but it is not as nice the ones I sold you. It will definitely have to be "RESTORED". Send me a PM with your address.

I really like the way this truck looks. I was looking to do a 4/6 static drop but I'm opting for this set up instead. Thanks for posting... JG67

I have to admit, I had it on factory Suburban alloys and white letter tires for the last 10 years, but I finally put it back to near its production-line glory.

Newsatlgia has those bullet lug nuts, among others. I think Moon has those caps.

What brand are those? The 17's I have seen before still had the center that looks like a a 15" center in a 17" outer rim.

These look good--much better than the others.

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

This "Steelie" thread is finding it's way back into a "Rallye" thread. I like them. But,just because they are made out of steel it doesn't make then steelies,as mentioned before, for those who actually read threads.

Nice! Where did you get those from?

I pulled my 9.75x 16.5s out and sold them to a guy. I'll miss them, but between a set of 9.75 aluminum slots and a set of 8.25 steelies I think I'm good. If I even want 10" steelies (for a third set of tires) I'll order those like above. Man,I hate selling my stuff!

Special-K. Nice! Where did you get those from?

They were special order through summit, made by wheel vintiques. Summit was $149 w /$12 handling. Wheel vintiques direct was $126 w /$150 ship. Saved a little due to summits volume I guess. Inspired by vectorits burb. Love the 68 w/ that wheel combo..

I'm on these until I complete engine swap and paint. I'm thinking about 17" steelies (10" rear) and 20" Coys or something billet

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

My 2wd 70 gmc has the original 15" stock steelies which i plan on reusng after a frame off. Measuring best I can with tire on pulling a wire through the rim the wheel appears to be 7" wide. Does this sound right or should it be a 15"x8" which people seem to describe as stock? I'm trying to figure the largest (tallest) tire i can put on my wheel with stock height. Thanks in advance.
