Re: Project: Turbo 250

That carpet looks nice. Where's it from again? Do they have a site or catalog?

Re: Project: Turbo 250

I just got the same carpet, look up auto custom carpet on ebay. I didn't go for the extra liner like you did and it looks like it was well worth it on your part. Yours looks perfectly molded where mine is barely molded at best and two tiny sqares of jute.

Re: Project: Turbo 250

It was worth the extra, and I was told there was jute on the whole thing corner to corner, but it showed up with it just in the foot area so i called them up and there sending me 2 extra yards for the rest.

Re: Project: Turbo 250

So I got the doors, fenders, emblems, door handles, and locks and door latches installed. I didnt realize that when lowering that much I wouldnt clear the outer fender.... bad mistake on my part! now my suspension is capable of still dropping two inches in the front beyond where my tire hits the fender! Not terribly happy with myself on the poor planning on that, but such is life! The one set of photos is as low as the fenders will let me lower it, and the other set is about where my desired ride height will be.

Re: Project: Turbo 250

So are you going to trim the fender to get full drop? Will probably have to change the hood hinges if you do that. The paint looks great. You're moving pretty fast.

I am just going to leave the fenders... for me the pain in the a$$ that it would be to do it just isnt worth it. And Thanks! I am working hard to be able to drive her this year yet!

Re: Project: Turbo 250

The wrist and thumb are still a little sore but I am able to work on things, I still only have 45% of my wrist and grip strength that I did before. Thanks for asking!

In bottom two posts it is, the bump-stops are touching the axle.

Re: Project: Turbo 250

Well all my audio is finally in! Went with the Retrosound RC9000C, and Boston acoustics GTA704 Class A amp, Polk Audio Dxi690 6x9 speakers, and Streetwires Zero Noise interference RCA cable and 14ga streetwire speaker wire (All oxygen free copper wire setup). Should pump out some great quality sound!
The speakers will look great in the corner brackets that BigBlock73 makes on here! I was very pleased with the quality and fitment of them!
