Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
64 K20 $6500.
Big block and aftermarket a/c installed by dealer later in 60's, per seller. https://bakersfield.craigslist.org/c...657666014.html Have to admit, I like this one a lot, not a common truck, wish it had an original small block (if it even was a sbc, more likely a 6), but still a cool K20 in my book, pretty good condition. |

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
c'mon now, if you're within a state or two, it's hard to pass this one up...
Have seen it listed before, but I believe price has dropped a good bit. Can't really tell, but the truck alone looks worth the asking price - 66 Custom Camper that is pretty original and appears to be in decent shape - but I do see a few decent dents too... Sell the camper and boat and cut a good thousand off the price! 66 C20 Custom Camper with camper and boat: $3500 https://stockton.craigslist.org/cto/...658771154.html |

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
Anybody on here buy the c/L 1966 K20 truck out of Seattle? Saw this add a few days too late. Would have loved seeing more pics of that truck before it sold?

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
I was always very mechanically minded. When we were kids, a friend put his parents '56 Caddy up on it's side in a ditch that crossd the road at a very close angle. He told me to go steal my uncle's '53 Chevy truck. I told him that I didn't know how to drive. Just GET IT. I understood perfectly, the function of the gearbox and clutch. I knew that I had to depress the clutch and move the shifter. I got it started and tried different positions on the shifter. I finally found a position that allowed me to get the truck moving in the correct direction. The steering wheel wasn't too hard to figure out. I ignored that other pedal (brakes).
We got the Caddy back on it's wheels. |

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
My 64 is a 3 on the tree. One day driving it, my wife said she wanted to try it out.....we swapped seats, I showed her the shift pattern and away she went. I think shes better at driving a three on the tree than I am......and I've been driving them for years.
