Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build
Well the engines in.... had to cut away most all my work on the firewall cause it didnt want to drop right in. so a new firewall is going to be done again. I have mocked up all the aluminum fuel lines (1/2" feed and return) to support 150 GPH onto the frame rails. I also got all the brake lines bent, shaped and mocked up to all four corners and mounted on the frame rails.
Next is mock up the hydro system and power steering lines, and then onto the headers and exhaust.... Will post some pics soon....

Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build
yeah those headers ought to stir up some dust uncorked, especially with boost.

Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build
We have a big flatbottom boat event this weekend with about 25-30 old flattys coming out to the Delta to go do some good ole river runnin'
I just got some new & different style pipes to put on my boat and got it all together. I also changed the scoop to velocity stacks. So been doing double duty lately on two projects!!!! but it should be all fun! Heres the boat: Ill post up some pics of the run next week....

Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build
Ok got the fuel system all completed with tank, pump and filters, hard lines to the front and the flex lines at each end. I mounted the pump on iso mounts on a plate in the rear. I wanted it in a semi-clean spot where it wsnt going to get a bunch of road dirt or burned rubber all over it. And have it easily accessible for filter cleaning. so this is where I put it. The rest of the frame is going to be the color of this mounting plat the pump is on.
pics....

Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build
Just looking at your beautiful headers - very nice. Are they custom for the truck or were they spec'ed for something else? Maybe '57 Chevy BB?
Keep up the good work.
