Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
Well they grew them on trees out here, big heavy branches too. I am getting too old to be pushing this thing around. It needs a motor or a younger owner. I even have 2 grandchildren that do not want to help, just want to sit in the truck. I can't wait until they get a job.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
I have the truck at home right now, working on the 67 extended cab to get the interior done. I will be mocking up the motor in the crew cab soon.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
That is super nice! You have alot of endurance to stick with this build. I can't even image the hours in this trucks. I'm tired after just reading the thread.
I've always been against having a 4wd & not putting it in the mud. But you better not this one,it's way to nice to do that!

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
Not that would be a crime. I would much rather have the truck over the blazer. Especially after all the work you have put in it. The blue looks nice, will be great to see it in full paint.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
I put the hood on to see how it looked and to hopefully get some more ambition before the rain. I did get the old support in front of the mounts and the motor mounts out for some new stuff. This should make it a little bit stiffer.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
Just came across your build. This trucks awesome. I would love to build something like this with a Cummins and a six speed. Do you have any pics of the whole truck all one color in a side shot? The wife needs convincing.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
I wish I could give you a side shot all in one color but alas it is not to be yet. I am working on getting it running soon so that I can get it back to the body shop and get it all in two colors and it will be a two tone I think.
