We love the Broncos and the success that they have gained , But..... it is just a game played by boys that do not shave on a regular basis yet.. kinda a shame SO much money is involved BSU campus is only 30-40 miles away, And it is our Home team since we have no pro teams here in the state, I graduated from BSU back in the day

Re: Bubba's recycling project
After approx 100 miles test drive , the brakes have passed the test . No leaks!!!!! They are quite easy to push and stops things right now on a dime.
A little nose diving in the front with a hard panic stop but no lockup or skidding of the tires. We decided that it will stay as is for a while. Daughter's senior pictures are happening this weekend and the truck just HAS to be in them. Playing farm truck The truck pulls it around the yard okay but needs bigger springs or overloads Craig, I never knew that you had a eye for hogs . You win a cold beverage for knowing that was a gilt in the picture!! Youngest daughter is shown with a "Bluebutt" a Yorkshire X Hampshire crossbreed. She also raised pure Hampshires and Hampshire X Duroc crossbreeds She had several return buyers this fall and had to buy more piglets earlier this spring to have enough for her customers orders! Quite a profitable summer business she has going on. The prop valve is from the 71-72 that donated the front cross member. I kinda liked it since it has a separate discharge line to each front caliper and a single line to the rear drums.

Re: Bubba's recycling project
I thought that hog had a little yorkshire in it, I've always said a good pig is a dead pig! I really dont have anything against pigs thats just the chip one has on his shoulder after growing up on a farm with 500 head of hogs at all times.
Tell her that she raises a nice hog. Craig |

Re: Bubba's recycling project
Hey Bubba, next sat. Is the fall swap meet, are you going to make it? Kyle and I will be there looking for parts, Kyle also might run his truck at the test and tune, I'm trying to talk him out of that one due to the fact That the next sun. Is the final high school drag race and the way our luck has gone this year I don't think we should press our luck.
Hope to see you there. Craig |

Re: Bubba's recycling project
It kinda snuck up on me this year!! I haven't missed the swap meet for a few years now, but then I just missed the show at Payette last weekend!!!
Forgot all about it... I might have to run my daughter to Utah to check out a College open campus this weekend. It will depend if my wife's schedule changes , Then I will go with daughter on a road trip. Hope you find some treasures!!! Bubba

Re: Bubba's recycling project
Today is the day for the new front window!!
Window guy was pretty excited to work on a classic!! Not as much rust as I had expected!!! What a difference!!! The old window had a crack right in the area where you looked at oncoming traffic. This is really nice to have that gone. We installed a new gasket and went with out the chrome trim. I cannot really notice the difference and the glass shops I had talked with all said that seating the old chrome in the new gaskets was a royal PIA and new imported cheap chrome was not all that good to begin with. I am now looking at wipers . I bought new LMC arms and blades last year, Has anybody found any better ideas for wipers ?? They were only marginal at best in a rainstorm.

Re: Bubba's recycling project
Hey Bubba,
Its been a while, I hope all been well with you. I have been reading up on your hydro-boost conversion and am very excited about doing the conversion myself. As it has been a number of months since the change, Im wondering if you are still happy with it and if you would recommend it to anyone else. I am anxious about doing it and have already sourced an astro hydro-boost with master cylinder & proportioning valve. The guy who is sell it has it priced at $150. is this a fair price? how about the power steering pump? Can we stick with our old pumps or did you need to upgrade? Happy Holidays! |

Re: Bubba's recycling project
I wish I had a suggestion, but I don't have any right now. I tried to buy some last year and they were back ordered or not available for some weird reason. I never followed up.

Re: Bubba's recycling project
Awwww Dave I thought that five window was my birthday present... Well I did turn 50 years old last week.
It is elk season in Idaho so we toughed it out for a couple of weeks and went to the woods to go Elk, Deer and Wolf hunting .. The first thing to be killed was a lime and Coronas while setting up the Flat screen TV and the dish. Note the camo on the Beer bottle . It works better for Him . I just lose my beer if it is camoed We HAD to watch the Boise State Broncos games, And several other games too... We had several generators and a satellite dish, 5 four wheelers and Enough RVs to be really comfortable and dry. Dave I found fresh mountain maiden tracks in the snow.... No Wolfies showed up, We did see a black/grizzly crossbred bear but we never thought to take a picture , we were just kinda shocked and trying to figure out what it was and then it was gone . Fish and Game guy said they are out there and really not uncommon , But then F & G have denied that grizzlies are even in this side of the state for years now.
