Thoughts on wheel selection, guys? I've always had a fondness for the Cragars and sorta wanna be 'different', but would really like a set of grey spoke TT2s. Dirty hack:

While I like the Cragars, they just don't hold a candle to early 'as-cast' looking 5-spoke wheels (TorqThrust's or similar/dead-ringer).

grey TT2's. had a set on my old 80 dodge aspen (nova rip-off). looked tough! the 225 slant six sipping thru a one barrel carb wasn't so tough though.

Played with PS a bit more- stuck some Coy's on the truck, exactly like what I had on the Blazer. If I go this route again, it will be with a twist- unlike anything anyone else has. Of course, that's what I thought when i put the Coy's on the Blazer, now they're everywhere...

Nice truck brotha, and thank you for removing the 90's step side bed. The way the cab and bed flow together (especially on a fleet side) is one of the most beautiful lines on these trucks. Why anybody would put a newer bed on I don't know, great job thus far keep us posted!

Agreed. Gotta price check TT2s vs Coy's. I think they're actually pretty close these days. Looking at 18s or 20s. Problem with 18s is finding tires, plus the 20s just look 'right'...

Was reminded, by the fact that we're headed to GoodGuys Lonestar Nats in a couple of weeks, that I had done some work on the truck in preparation for the trip, but had failed to update. Here's some crappy cell phone pics of the insulation I installed last week. It is from a guy I found on the HAMB, who goes by the name lobucrod. The insulation is supposed to cut down 97% of radiant heat up to 450*. From the difference I can feel on the firewall and floorboards, where it used to burn your feet, now exhibits no temperature change; I'd say it works- and quite well. I love finding cheap alternatives that actually perform...
