this was my high school auto shop project started out as a 64 chevy k10 4x4 which i had traded my racing lawnmower for now its a 62 gmc k10 the body i got for 75 bucks they chopped the back of the cab off of the 64 to put a camper on thats when i bought the 62 gmc 2wd for 75$ and yes i can fit 35's with no lift

thanks I have plans for this beast, I dont know if you have ever seen one of
these shotened and a regular bed put on them. but that is my game plan. just dont know if I will use short or long bed yet. take care.

Good eye argonaut, I never noticed that. It could be crappy reproduction bumper mounting brackets made in China? There is nothing like using OEM or finding NOS parts when restoring a classic truck or car.

I saved the truck from the crushers the guy said the motor was locked up I gave him 300 for it brought it home fixed the starter new points and it fired right up it has 59,000 on it can't wait to finish it

well I painted my Mudhoney this summer. here's what she looks like now... next additions hopefully before May 2013 will be custom made tube bumpers front and back with front winch and a cabling setup to allow for rear winching from the front, as well as rock sliders welded to frame...

so is my 1964 k10 with a 62 body on it still considered a stock truck? and will 1963 dumptruck fenders bolt up with no modification to my truck.the truck im refeering to is the one i poted on page 18
