^
^ ^ That truck looks great! Did you wash it with CLR? Those dents in the fender and door will be easy to fix.

Yes I do.......I have enough parts to bag one, so it would make a nice shop truck!

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
This is my daily driver now. I bought it from a junkman that was hauling it to the scrapyard to be crushed. I've covered the buildup on my blog (link in signature).
I do admit that I have a new Toyota 4x4 that I drive on real bad weather days. These old trucks aren't much fun to drive a 100 mile commute on icy roads. The Tacoma is great for that.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
Here is a 71 that is for sale here locally. I really like it. Almost makes me want to sell my 84, and buy this. However, that would entail picking out a casket because my wife would kill me.

I have been wanting to go look at this same truck but I would have the same situation as you if I came home with it. I might have to be burried in it!! I havent had time to work on mine and I am getting the itch to drive an old truck again. |

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
Here's mine. I rattle-canned the fender and hood, and am saving up for a paint job. The logo on the passenger door is legit, "County of Glenn".

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
cppursell... slick stepper. What happened to the front fenders/hood to require you to paint them?
