He has plenty of clearance for the steering shaft and the rack its the angle of the picture. The oil pan is 3 1/2 inches above the crossmember.

I didn't get to it yesterday, I'm in computer hell at home with cleaning family members computers. Everyone, stop going to sites you don't know about and don't open emails from sources you don't know.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

I've thought about it when I shaved mine, but I liked the shaved look better. Its more sporty looking to me. The coolest 55 parking light mod I've seen is this I thought it was pretty slick. This is a 55 Nomad. If I show you the whole Nomad you may faint, because when I saw it in person I almost did.lol

Modified (He removed the bezel and welded all the seams close it looks slick)

Stocked

Man you have to take responsibility for your own addiction and stop blaming me. Repeat after me "I'm a caroholic".

"I am a caroholic, and aint it great" but at the very least you are an enabler, and a good one at that.

Hey, just cause I'm curious (aka "nosy!) where do the "Kabwe" and the "Bam" names come from? What's their origin?

My "Dan in Pasadena" come from having no creativity! I tried Danimal (there are a million of those) and after that I just said, "screw it".

Kabwe is actually my surname. BAM is what a lot of my buddies started calling me because of all the noise I make while banging on metal.lol

37-40 ford huh?? My favorite car of all time is a ford as well, a 28-32 Model A sedan (im in negotiations on a 28 now...) and i also love the 53-56 trucks but not near as much as the tri-five trucks. If im in the mid-late 30's give me a Chevy Opera Coupe!

Thanks Google for the pic!

Yeap I love 37-40 Fords. I saw this one at a show a few years ago. What made it even nicer is that the owner was cool and we talked cars. It's cool when you find people that are not buttheads. I'm a car fan and I'm really not a people fan, some of them make it so hard to be.lol

I know right.lol 37-40 Fords just have great body lines. I'm nuts about them but they are too expensive, so I have to admire them from afar.

BTW all the wood grain in the interior is paint not real wood.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

37-40's are that expensive? I wouldn't have though they would be more than a 2-door tri-five? In fix-er-upper condition that is...

I like your choice of cars that you take photos of,there the ones i usually look at when at a car nite and say wow nice. The body and paint has to be well done but what makes it great is a interior that looks like it cost a fortune. It's really something to see how a professional interior guy can make the car a complete package.Watching Boyd Coddington he used a guy called Gabe who put out some nice interiors,i can only imagine what he charges $$$$$$$$
