today i got the other lca all done so their both done i just have to drill the holes to mount the bags and drill a couple more holes for draining purposes and i also ended up pie cutting the uppers i wanted to do more but is freezing outside so this was it for today here are some pics.....

i was goin through some parts i have in the garage and i found a new set inner and outer tierod ends i bought them for this truck a while ago but i never got around to use them so im gonna use them now ....

well since i know how much to cut i just used my vice to hold them in place and bent them with my hands and after i made sure they were both even i welded them from bottom and top...

in the next couple days the plan is start putting the tierod ends together and after that start painting all the suspension components and engine compartment and also the front part of of the frame...

ok so here we go again i feel like a damn crab going backwards lol.... i got my tierod ends all put together i used the same sleeve since there is nothing wrong it and i started to paint the frame inside the engine compartment and the Xmember but because all the damn oil and grease that xmember had and because the frame and xmember are gonna be diff colors there was no way to paint it without making a mess and i know i wouldnt be happy with the results so i decide it to take the Xmember off and all the steering parts this is gonna set me back a little bit but i think ill be happier with the results here are some pics....

i washed it with degreaser and the high pressure hose and i took the grinder with a wie brush to it and got it all cleaned up....

and started to paint the xmember with the hammered style paint.... i love this paint it lays on thick and it hides all kinds of imperfections and i like the way it looks ....

yes is Rust-oleum $10 a quart with one quart you can do all your suspension parts and still have half of the quart left.... the can says black but once is applied is like dark gray....

and whats the deal with poly mounts? i been reading here that poly mounts shake too much and the regular rubber ones dont what is your guys opinion on this? i thought poly were better than the regular replacement ones....

i been using it for years i never applied primer before using it but im sure it will help if you do.... as far as the durability im sure is better than just spraying it with a cheap rattle can but im also sure is not as good as P.O.R 15 since rustoleum is cheaper...
