Well it does suck that there out of business but I’m not to worried about it. If something doesn’t work or fails right away I will try and source a part if it’s still available somewhere? If something fails that can’t be repaired I will just swap out the control system since that’s really the only Accuair parts they made. There’s still good company’s making some nice stuff! Ridetech, Air lift etc... We shall see what happens?!? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 67 C10 "Green Gobblin" straight from the field!
Ok I got the Accuair system all up and working! Lines are run and Everything works as it should. I will adjust the height sensors once the truck is mostly complete. ( Not many pics of that ) I Also managed to get the interior finished up with carpet, Seat, Instrument cluster, column and steering wheel, door panels finished! I do plan on putting a radio in and finding a good spot for the air-ride controls.

Wow, very clean interior. The steering wheel looks great as well. Is that 503 green on the interior?

Re: 67 C10 "Green Gobblin" straight from the field!
Where did you get your 503 green from? I need to get a quart of 503 green urethane to tint my raptor bedliner and have found a few places online, TCP Global being one of them. But if there are other options I might look there as well.

I will give that a shot as well, the local guys. It’s often cheaper to order online where I’m at but we shall see.

Excellent job on the bedsides. That did look tedious for sure. All in the name of keeping the originality.

Re: 67 C10 "Green Gobblin" straight from the field!
Made some great progress on the truck the past few days! Started mocking up the bedsides and modifying the steel bed floor to fit. I quickly realized that i would rather have a wood floor for the look I want so like usual the plans changed again! Heres a few pics of the box sides finally mocked up and steel floor mock up. (Plus my helper for the day)

Re: 67 C10 "Green Gobblin" straight from the field!
So after scrapping the steel bed idea i realized i needed to remake the front and rear bed supports and plan out the raised bed floor.

Nice work on those bed supports. I like the idea of using tubing.

More progress on the box! Trying to line up all gaps and getting everything to fit as it should before I tackle the raised bed floor.

Re: 67 C10 "Green Gobblin" straight from the field!
Nice and low! I also decided to start fitting the side trim. I had to cut down the long box pieces and after that they fit pretty good. lol

Re: 67 C10 "Green Gobblin" straight from the field!
Progress! I've put quite a bit of time into the raised bed floor and getting everything to fit and work properly the last few weeks so heres some updates. I laid the wood in to get a idea of the space below and everything seemed to have a pretty decent air gap around it ( Exhaust, Compressors). I also decided to slide a pipe into the front bed support to straighten it and also add some strength incase theres ever anything in the box that slides to the cab!

Re: 67 C10 "Green Gobblin" straight from the field!
Tore everything down after that to finish up the bed floor and start to figure out and build the Center section that will be hinged and lift up on gas struts. You might also notice the front box support i decided to put a step notch into it incase of future driveshaft clearance?
