Re: SoCal checkin' in
hahaha, yeah the beer is $8.00, and yeah we usually get there at 5:30am. no biggie its a lot cooler early so we like that part of it. There are some good deals to be had there just know what you are looking for and ignore the "know it alls" with the "one off" super custom edelbrock intake(dime a doze there) that they say is worth $10.00 under full retail for a new one.
We showed up with a wagon and $200.00 and came home with lots of good deals...in our eyes at least.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Hey my fello Californians! I can't believe I'm just now finding this section of the forum.
Anyways...I'm Jimmy. Located in Buena Park, CA (Orange County). I have a shop out here which does all types of metal fabrication, and street rod, hot rod, race car, show car building. I myself own a 1963 Chevy c10 LWB fleetside which is my shop truck. I just recently picked it up, so I'm doing work on it as I work in between jobs. I've gotten a good amount of work done on it so far, but a long way to go to get it to where I want it. Here is a link to the thread for my truck. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=412905 I became a member on this awesome forum because we started a full custom, frame off build on a 1967 chevy c10 for a bike builder. Project has been on hold for a little while, but where going to get back on it this week. Here is the link to the build. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=385028 Also, I have a 86 suburban which I'm parting out, and alot of the parts left are larger pieces, so I'd like to sell them to someone locally, so if anyone is interested, here is the link to that. I also have a ton of SBC/BBC, performance, and air suspension parts for sale which I'm just trying to clear off my shelves at my shop, so i'll post that link as well. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=416959 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=408133 I'm happy to be part of this forum, and have met some great people already. I'm thinking about holding a meet at my shops parking lot in the next month or so, that way I can meet some more members. If anyone would be interested in doing that, let me know. I have a bbq grill here too |

Well, I'm definately down to have a meet at my shop. I'm pretty centrally located right off of beach blvd. in between the 5 freeway and the 91. I guess lets try to get a list together of everyone who is interested in coming, and see what everyone's schedule looks like. I'm pretty much open to whenever since I practically live at my shop, lol! |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Just wanted to see if anyone was registered or is going to be driving out to the cruising for a cure show this Saturday??? Me and a friend of mine are showing at this event this Saturday, and we will be leaving Saturday morning from my shop in Buena Park. If anyone else is attending, and would like to cruise out there with us, let me know.
Hope to meet some of you there. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Hey my fellow So Cal friends. I was at my friends shop yesterday and next door to him is another shop where the guy does customizing work kinda like a 310. Anyway his partner saw my truck, and made me an offer. For the condition of my truck, its a heck of an offer. I would get what I put into it plus extra. So yea im thinking about parting with it.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
LOL!! Coolbus thats always the plan. We've had 3 meets so far, but I think the CPP meet got people looking towards that one. But, if you decided to plan one or just throw out a date and location, those that can make it will come. Let me know.
