Re: progress pictures

Looks great. I like the injector covers and realize your idea isn't finished, but maybe the corners should be more rounded.

Re: progress pictures

Mikey what about making the fuel rail covers out of polished stainless like the console top? I would round the corners also.

Re: progress pictures

I think if you were to smooth the coil covers and do a similar pattern to your old valve covers you could get away without the injector covers. I kinda like being able to see a little bit of the 'business'- but covering the injectors will give it a smoother appearance...

Looks nice either way

I love those fake valve covers! Coil pack covers?

Either way, certainly something I haven't seen before.

gringoloco,
the header are edelbrock , http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku they are a coated header and they are avalible in the bright coating also. the left side fit like it was made for it . the right side i did have to trim the frame about 1/4" to 3/8" at the front tube of the header. but on a truck that has a stock frame looks as if it would fit without any trimming . with the z'ed frame , the motor sit a little lower in the frame rails .

Few questions. 5.3 or ls?
What did you do with the coil packs? Are they just not on yet or did you relocate them? EDIT: I found the answer to my own question Where did you find those covers?? Im going to need some!!
What intake manifold is that?

There are a few different types- some are one wire, and some use an ECM signal. Check out LS1tech's conversions and hybrids forum. Do a search there and I'm sure you'll find the info you're looking for.
