Re: my 68 shortbed build
Looking good...like you said, a little heat and a little persuasion
Worth a lot more than $10 now

Re: my 68 shortbed build
I have a guy local to me that redoes them and has the original style webbing...pm me if you want his info. He did a black set for me and they looked great.

Re: my 68 shortbed build
Truck looks amazing! Very inspring to a 18 year old, what funded this truck and did you paint it yourself?

Re: my 68 shortbed build
i changed my mind on my inner fenders and am now going with 1/2 fenders, so today i cut the fenders and made some blacks that will weld the the back of the fender and then bolt to the bottom of the fire wall through the floor under the carpet
i started with some 1x1 square tube and drilled some holes then welded a 2 nuts the the inside of each hole, then i was feeling fancy so i boxed in the ends

Re: my 68 shortbed build
haha thanx, the square blocks are going to be welded to the back of the 1/2 fenders and will be used to bolt thm to the fire wall, there will be two holes drilled on the floor neer the high beam switch and same place on the pass side and the bolt heads will be hidden under the carpet, i will put some pics up when i get them installed that will explain it better, haha

Re: my 68 shortbed build
Just thumbed thru the whole thread. You have done a great job. I think it was a wise choice to go back with the bench seat.
