Been working on the remodel of the house for the last few months. Hopefully I will have my shop finished in a few more weeks but I don't see anything getting done to the trazer for a few more months. Hopefully in a few weeks I can get it out of my Dad's shop and bring it home.

Re: 72 2wd Blazer: Project "Break Me"

No trazer progress but I am pretty much done with the shop and the house... I still have a bunch of landscaping to do but I am going to wait until the fall now. The shop is a 30x56x12 with a 3:12 pitch on the roof,m I took the old cabinets out of our house and put them in the shop. I basically have a working kitchen if I would install the dishwasher. I waited nearly 10 years for my own shop and I am glad I waited now since this is about the perfect size. I threw in a pic of my crew... I bought me a set of 20's for it And my other blazer, I bnought some 12 bolt h1's and run flats for it. Hopefully in 2 weeks the trazer will be in it's new resting place and I can start back working on it.

Looks great! So is the shop at the house? Plus a very cool little carriage house for the finished DD. I also like the little fish pond in the back ground

Yep, this one is about 75' from the back door of the house so I don't have far to go to get to my dog house I built that room thinking that when I get the blazer done I can park it in there and not have to worry about keeping it out of the main shop, hopefully it would stay cleaner in there. Yep, that is about a 33000 acre fish pond in the back yard A.K.A Weiss Lake.

The house and shop are OK and all but I'm LOVIN that M1009! I just bought one myself from GL. It has very good body and only 46,000 milesn and it runs great. Did you repaint your's or was it like that when you got it? Mine is just OD green. It was a base truck in Germany for many years. I have been thinking of going with NATO camo theme.

lol... It was solid green too. I went to wally world and got some spray bomb for it and did the camo myself. I got mine from GL too, I paid less than $1250 for it after taxes and buyers fees. I cranked it up at the army base (after putting 2 battiers in it) and pulled it on the trailer. It hasn't missed a beat in a year and a half.
