You're right. I went ahead and did that but don't see an option to delete this one. Like my name says... noob.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
After 17, pages. Wow!! My eyes are tired crime reading all that small, faded fonts.. I will post a pick of mine later.
ETA.. I noticed only a handful of the posted spids, had an order # bottom right of label guessing those are actually trucks ordered spec'd out by the customers |

Quote:
The dealer order number is what gets sent to the final assembly plant to kick off the build process. I'm not sure why only a random sampling of SPIDs show the dealer order number; may be plant to plant or model year variation. K

Re: SPID Picture thread?
This SPID doesn't match your avatar photo. I'm interested in a few pix of that truck. The white/color/white/color trucks are always eye-candy. What does the "special" color mean?

Re: SPID Picture thread?
I'll try to locate the forum thread where this was recently posted...will post up more pics if I locate it (not my truck just posted SPID for posterity). My K20 SPID can be seen on the resto thread linked in my signature below. SS Tim can chime in but my understanding is that some special color options were offered (fleet trucks like USFS) but the details may be more complex with Canada trucks as these could be had with colors not available in US, purple comes to mind.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Here's one from a 72 we have in storage. It has some interesting anomalies. This is two separate shots of the same spid. It was dark and the flash gave me fits.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Had this one come into my work. I thought the red interior was pretty neat as well as the mirror option.
