Re: I'm one of you guys now
dang, i'm laughing my @ss off right now!.... everything from the flintstones to "have welder, need metal, must weld!" Sounds like something i'd do... start filling in the body gaps and have to dukes of hazard it!
btw the panel was like $30 shipped i think. i know it wasnt over $40 for sure.

Re: I'm one of you guys now
The filler is the easy part. Fold it instead of stirring to help work out the bubbles, sand it down, prime, guidecoat, block, reprime, done. Repeat as necessary.

Re: I'm one of you guys now
I almost got it out
gotta finish it up today. I pulled the bed back off and went to start and realized that some dumbass (me) left my cordless drill battery charger unplugged last weekend, so I didn't have any charged batteries. so in the mean time I decided to pull one leaf back out of my rear leaf pack. It rode way too rough with all of the the leafs in there. So hopefully it will ride better now. I want to get the ride kinda dialed in before I do a flip. I also started smoothing out the back of the cab where I pulled the trim and grind-ed the trim pins off. I'm going to need a slight amount of filler, glaze, or something to finish it off. So a question for you Scott, can i use that dolphin glaze for this? Does it need bare metal to adhere well, or can i put it over the primer/sealer? here are a couple pics and I picked up this body saw from Harbor Freight for $16.99. It zips right through sheet metal. It is much faster, less dangerous, and less messy that using my angle die grinder and a cut off wheel I gotta get back after it so maybe I will have some update tonight Travis, what vinyl? you brought it up so now you gotta share

Re: I'm one of you guys now
actually I was up late last night so I didn't get started very early....i'm in here on the computer now because I had a question about the corners Scott might be able to explain it better, It is a product from U-POL. It is a glaze, i think it is mostly used for filling small surface irregularities...

I was referring to your "pics". they're either on a coffe break or they don't exist. At least not on my screen anyway.
