Here is my long bed. Got the truck when I was 15 years old some 23 years ago! Spent every dime I had on it through High School and College. I built a bored and wh0red 396 and painted it in 1993. It was last driven in 1999, last registered in 2001 and last started in 2006 (when this picture was taken). After a 5 year hiatus tucked away in the garage, I am working on getting it road again ready now. Just resealed the TH400 and have a new engine harness on order from Wes at Classicheartbeat. Amazing what a wiring mess, me as a 20 year old kid, made to it years ago.

It badly needs updated wheels!

Cool thread! I just recently got back into the C10 game myself, and what do you know....this time in a LWB!

Meet ole ugly yeller, picked this one up on the cheap about a month ago....really good runner/driver unmolested with very minimal rust. Immediate plans are to put a set of 15x8 Ralleys on it, thinking maybe a 3/4 drop, fix the AC, and just some misc maintenance work for now....so I can drive the crap out of it this summer.

I'm planning to go with some 275/60's on the rear, but having a hard time deciding on the front tires...thinking that 255/60's would look good but want to be sure they'll do okay with a ~3" drop up front....thoughts from others on this? The BFG's are 27.1" tall in 255/60 (28" for the rear 275/60's).

It was one those deals of being in the right place at the right time when the call came in...and having a Ford friend that remembered how much I like these trucks. I've just never been a fan of anything yellow....it's like my Cryptonite!
