Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
It is a kit that moves your rear axle on top of the leaf springs. vs. being under them.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
yup. For you, you can do lowering springs and blocks, if you want to keep the springs. if you go more than 4" I would suggest c-notch and an adjustable track bar.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
okay ..please help..i must ask this question..i have a 71 and bought the Wilwood big brake kit front/rear and plan on running 20" wheels.. i also have the 2.5" cpp drop spindle for up front. i only want to do a 2.5" front and 4" rear drop as i will be more than likely loading up my bike that weights around 700lbs..So i'm looking for shokcks to compliment what i want.. do i go with a stock shock for front/rear and get the 4" drop spring for the rear or what?

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
I have leafs in the back so I cant really answer that question..... Dont quote me on this but I think you can just buy front shocks and use them on the rear with a 4" drop... But Im not 100% sure.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
I think you need drop shocks for the rear. Just looking at CPP's shocks on their website says they have a shock for stock height, a 2-4" drop shock and a 5" drop shock for the rear. I would recommend shock relocators for the rear.
I do know that stock shocks will work up font if you're only using a 2.5" drop spindle. The spindle doesn't change your suspension height at all. It simply moves the wheel location as it relates to the suspension.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Drop spindles actually lower ride height by moving the wheel higher on the spindle (higher in the wheel well). No change to overall suspension height (springs and shocks) because nothing behind the spindle is changed. Ride height is obviously lower by the amount of spindle drop, usually 2.5".

Wow JWall! I haven't been a fan of square bodies, but I think that one might change my mind. Very nice!
