Thanks man. Got some news today that apparently my bed wood kit has been located. Should be ready to pickup this week. Hope it's not all hammered to rat sh*t from its extended tour.

Then... the wood kit arrives! F#*kin damaged... and over 3 weeks late! Clamped, glued and filled with dolphin glaze. Blocked it out and stained with minwax ebony. 2 coats of minwax spar semi gloss to finish it off. Wife couldnt find repair... guess it'll work.

Re: Project NiteMare-1970 C10 LWB build

I had polished and cleared the bed strips previously. Didn't care for the look of them... sooo, I stripped them. Primed and painted black. (wife shaking head at me again) Trained my favorite girl how to run my tractor cuttin grass. (= more shop/beer time for dad)

Looking good Molberg Nice JKU. I checked out your site and was wondering what this was (a rooster?)

I might be interested in a memorial lily. Do you paint them?

Re: Project NiteMare-1970 C10 LWB build

That thing's b!tchin'! You need a link to your site in your sig line there Molberg. Go Premium, make some "truck art". Interior handles, shifters, etc... Those are skills man.

I like the painted bed hardware too man. It's going to look (or prolly already looks) killer! I've talked about going that way vs. the polished SS and the Boy always squeals. I have yet to purchase. I've also thought about painting the wood black. From what I've read, good o' paint provides the best protection.

Verified (found the facebook page), it's a rooster. Wicked Airbrush some color even better. I think jlsanborn is on to something with the truck art.

I make different ones. Some painted, acid dipped, torched or brushed. Got a list of "to-do's" for people once I get this truck out. Thanks bro.

Resurrecting an old thread...

I was watching this build early on (before paint) and somehow Los my bookmark. I just stumbled on to it again a couple of days ago and finished getting caught up just now. It looks great, loved the stripes and the shop logos. Hat's off to you brother, great looking custom!
