Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I have been looking for a 4 door for years. They have always been too rusty or too exspensive for me to mess with...... until now. Guys, EVERY THING WORKS!! NO rust holes. 454 with 400 trans. Less than 100,000 miles. The truck starts every time! I gave 2k for this truck . I have all the parts needed to make it 4wd. Just need the time.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

As for the latest addition, 1991 GMC Crew 4x4, 63,xxx miles, but rough around the edges.
Drove 6 hours one way to get it, then towed my Honda back home with it. Gambled a little bit with that, but it worked out!
I liked how the guy told me that it was fully loaded and that everything worked, then when I showed up he tells me that the AC doesn't work, the passenger window doesn't work, etc.
"one tire is sort of bad, but I have three extra wheels...", which meant that all the tires are pretty much shot and one was unusable, and by wheels he meant three tires, and the two rims with blown tires that used to be on the truck...
Well, the price I was willing to pay dropped accordingly and I still bought it.

looks like it atleast has a 205 in it (straight up 4wd shifter vs the lay down 208 style)

I can't be totally specific on the tranny/transfer case but I believe it to be 4l80 and 205, and it is O/D on the tranny.

That is a 1 year only combo. Very desired, very stout.
