Eric sorry to hear about your mom. Luckily you are building a great memorial that we all get to enjoy seeing finalized. The interior is turning out like the rest of the truck.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Sorry to hear the news brother. God is working his plan and we have to put our trust in him. I have said many times these trucks are therapeutic to an extent and it sounds like you are a wonderful man by planning to use one to help your dad. Tons of prays brother for now and the future.

From TeamGonzalez our prayers go out to you & your family.
I met you last year at Rene's & at SEMA. Your a good dude & I believe your moms had a great deal of who you are today. Having built Tootsie will be an extension of her spirit. God Bless & hope to see you at Brother's.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
I'm just a lurker on this site but I wanted to offer my condolences to you and your family. In today's age, everyone wants to make the world better for the children but no one wants to make the children better for the world. It appears you mother was able to accomplish both. When you park your truck at the show on Sunday, take a moment to really look around. I'm sure you will find the grass is a little greener, the air is a little fresher and the sun is a little brighter. That's a mothers pride!
And since I am on your build thread, I must agree with everyone else. The truck is nothing short of amazing. |

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Wow!! that's awesome Eric, congrats on Best of Show. I'm sorry to hear that your mom has passed. I was hoping it didn't end the way it did. Your truck will be a lasting tribute to your mother and we will never forget why and who you built this truck for.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Nice pics Eric, its an amazing truck and was awesome to see in person. I made in the background of the second to last pic, I'm on the left side leaning against the building. I have a great time talking with you, your dad, and Jimmy. You all are great people and I'm sure you're mother must have been a wonderful person to because she raised you. Once again I'm sorry for your loss.
