The stance on that truck is perfect, I love the rake. What's been done to get it there? The wheels look fantastic on it too.

Andy, It's got 2-1/2" spindles with a full coil cut on the front, and shackles and hangers in the back. With the tailgate, back bumper, and tool box it set about an inch lower. I'm glad you like it, but it's just too high in the back for me, so I'm going to flip it real soon and get it a little more level, and it will ride better I'm not putting the tool box back or the heavy bumper. Thanks for the compliment. It doesn't compare to some of the beautiful trucks here.

My spindles are Belltech 1-1/4" rotors. I had to trim the lower a-arm quite a bit, and the spindles where the caliper goes, but I can run stock 8' rallyes or the Daisys. Thanks

I dig both of those red trucks, they are really nice.

'79 Scottsdale K10, 350, TH350, NP205, 10bolt front, 14bolt rear, 38" dry rotted Swampers, 4" suspension, 3" homemade body lift from red oak blocks and yes it was put through years of Hell and they never busted or rotted.
Not much to look at these days, but years ago she'd clean up nice. my first love. The jackstands keep the rims out of the dirt.
I've got alot of pics before digital age of me in my teens in this truck, only if she could talk. lol

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Hi, I'm new here. Here's a pic of my summertime dd '77 Chev short step, shortly after I bought it 2yrs ago. It is an original blue bucket seat truck but the originals were long gone. It came with tall 80's brown puffy van seats. I yanked them out right away and put in a SE bucket/console/bench combo.

Here's what she looks like today:

How bout some bugs on the bumper!!!!

15x8 rallies on the front and 15x10 widened rallies on the back. These were widened in about 1987 and were used for about 5yrs since then, until a month ago.
