cb1965,
That's exactly what I did. I bought my CCP Drop Spindles from Summit & they were on my front porch the next day. I ordered my 6 lug rotors from CPP on sunday & they were on my door step on wednesday. Fast shipping from both places. I was very happy with both.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Sent mine to work with my son in law yesterday, he works for a local restoration shop, to get my A/C charged. He said he needed to take it back today because they were low on freon. I think he is just having too much fun driving it. :-} I'm tying up some loose ends before Lone Star Round Up next weekend in Austin. It is a must see and do event!!

New bed wood, tubs, and strips are in and strapped down. Gotta fix the tailgate and this thing is ready for cruising season!

Evicted a family of wasps from under the cowl and pulled the carb to rebuild. Also pulled the valve cover and found crusty sludge that smells like fuel. Time to clean!!

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Except for adding deluxe pedal pads which won't arrive for a few days, I finished up installing the 71-72 cable gas pedal. What a nice improvement.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Well I washed some dust off my truck and some new tires. Can't wait to get it disassembled next week for some wet sanding and 3 more coats of clear.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Finished bolting up the new-to-me 250. Had issues getting spark but changed out the condenser and points and plug wires. I was just going to bump it but low and behold she started right up! It's still a used motor, but a 100% better than I had before. I checked the old motor's valves and #2 exhaust leaked like a downspout.
Installed the hood. Now all I lack is the fenders and she'll be road worthy again.

I removed and replaced the lower part of the door. I still have a lot to do with it. I wish I would have just replaced the whole door!

New carpet, weatherstrip, fuzzies, steering wheel and foot gas pedal. Now to figure out what to do with the seat, and how to get the doors to close, I have them out as far as they will go.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Had another great day. Salvaged a radiator out of a parting out vehicle this morning, then spent the day working on the truck with my son. This is something we enjoyed doing with his 67' Lemans last year and now we have this 63' 4x4 to work on this year..

Got mine running!! Last weekend I (with a lot of help from my friends) got it to turn over, and run by pouring gas in the carb. Today she started and ran and ran! Sounded SOOO good!

Enjoy!
