Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
wow, the word "clean" doesn't do justice to your truck.
Thanks for posting the photos. Has the truck had any restoration work done or are we looking at a factory fresh truck? Last edited by lakeroadster; 06-21-2011 at 09:40 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
the only way skirts look right for me is if they cover the back wheel all the way to the lip....of course that would require a radical lowering job...
V tough photo chop..angled driveway...

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Thanks for the lowering job. Skirts would look a lot more appropriate with the truck dropped. I'm afraid my photoshop skills don't go that far.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I'd suggest you call Mooneyes or Speedway and ask them that question... get the answer direct from the "horse's mouth" as they say.

Never versions are just like conventional wheel covers with gripping fingers that tear into the wheel paint, so they hold as well as any other type of that design. Some of the more inexpensive versions are made of stainless steel and are very heavy compared to real Moon racing discs which are made of aluminum. |

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Im not for shure it was on there when i got the truck.I dont know if im going to keep it on there.I traded an old dog kennell for the truck.Turned out the truck was stolen.I got luckey when i tracked down the original owner he didnt want it back so he filed for a loss title and transfered it to me.He is also going to sell me the stepside bed he got for it.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
That’s an incredible happy ending. Most stolen truck stories don’t end so well for whoever acquired the vehicle. Nice of the guy to be so cooperative.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Holy $hit......
It sure sounds like it was meant to be.. What a community.........That special needs truck sure did work it's way through hell to find ya'. You're hitched for life. I like the dog kennel part too. That's a great find. Can't wait to see what you do to it. That might beat 'em all when it comes to " How did you find your truck..." Ok.........I'll start the thread if someone in Administration will move Richards'72's post to the top.............

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
New to the site but here is my 66. I just picked it up from Arkansas, spotted it on EBAY. It has a 283 with a 3 speed.
Just put dual exhaust and ww's on it yesterday. I need to start looking at drop options now. Great site, sure is no shortage of ideas and info here. Thanks MB |
