Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

I interrupted this Beaver gathering breakfast this morning when I got to work. It was harvesting branches from the native plants the city required us to plant when the building was remodeled back in 2017.

Of the 10 Alder and Popular trees the ccompany to plant the Beaver cut down 9 of them. The tenth one just died. Photo 3 shows some of the stumps left by Beaver.

After the sun came up I noticed the trail the Beaver has worn in the bank going back and forth for dinner.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

let the dawgs out this morn, heard a rustle in my garbage can.
a rat was digging around in it. Rumble ran right over to it and the rat jumped out of the can and Rumbledawg deftly and beautifully snagged it in mid air...heck of a good catch on his part. went to get a bag to dispose of it and the crows ticked off Rumble by swooping in and grabbing his kill....at least i didn't have to dispose of it...

Nature was at work in your yard.

You have the best GMT400 real life photos I've seen.

Backgrounds not too shabby either!

The sky opened up for you a bit. Looks beautiful

Cool van set up for camping with the 110 roof air. Not so sure I like the clear steel look though.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

today was a rare combination,my wife was off,a nice day,too nice to hang around here so off we went in the convertible on a little adventure.i thought i'd stop in and say hi to the fella who painted my truck last October, but we never made it,got a little side tracked here at this yard full of stuff, nothing for sale, all for this fella's own enjoyment.unreal amounts of stuff.i think i counted 8 or 10 old gas pumps but i'm sure there's more?unreal, then we stopped at a little place down the road where a man built bird houses,i guess she needed another one??i know when to shut my mouth,i'm not as stupid as i look.never did get to the body shop but that's ok.all good.

Beautiful Neat Place! Love to see places with the old antiques displayed. Looks like someone also has a full time maintenance job keeping it ship shape.

That's what I was thinking. Beautiful place but holy cow that must be a lot of work to keep up.

Cool place. So is the place open for browsing? One man's personal museum. I had something similar, on a smaller scale, in mind for my retirement. I collected antique toys, advertising, western, pioneer, and just antique type stuff all my life. I still have a good bit, but have had to sell off a lot over the past 15 years, unfortunately. No more plans for a mini museum.

It sure looks ship shape and that was my thought when I looked at the pictures. Must be a guy who likes to keep busy. I'm that way and I hope I keep it up. I also thought about the place sitting all winter. I'd love to see pictures in the snow

this was quite a place, not open to the public.if i get back there,it's a couple hours from here,in winter,i will take some pictures.i walked up in a Boy's Scout Park for some pictures beside the place.there was a 100 miles of fence around the place.i had sorta hoped someone would see me walking around and come out and want to yak about all this stuff but no dice.the place was like a palace, the yardwork would be never ending and there wasn't a blade of grass out of place.the property extended for a long way back and there were old trucks, road graders, signs, pumps, you name it as far as you could see.unreal.when we stopped up the road a mile or so for my wife to buy a birdhouse,it was there that man told me a little about the guy with all the stuff.apperantly he came to the birdhouse fella and bought 28 of them i think he said,a $1000.00 and has them all over the property out back i guess.apperantly he's very successful in the restaurant business amoung others thing i guess?good for him,he can play with whatever he wants, looks like?she did buy a cool old birdhouse to add to our little hole in the wall.cool.

That took some real talent to make. I wouldn't even know where to begin with all those curves.
