You can get mirrors off of the 88-98 trucks that are manual that bolt to the 89-91 power mirror mounts. Some astro vans have them too.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I have heard that the 4L80E was the best option for behind a cummins conversion.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Thanks Joe231.... It is a stock 12 valve. The guy I bought it from had the 4L80E built up. Not sure what all was done to it but it is supposed to hold up. I guess time will tell.

Please tell me you are painting it back to stock color combo when done, that is one of my all time favorite sets from the factory.

i am gona try to keep it stock with all gm parts and i am going with camaro yellow and white or a cream color in the center. but i wished i would left the truck like it was with the 400 sbc turbo 400 and just kept driving it. i miss driving it around its been 2 years since i took it apart. its sitting at a body shop now waiting on paint its been there for 3 months now.its gona cost $7500 to paint it.

What is Camaro yellow? If you put new trim on there, make sure to paint the stripe yellow like you've got. That's 1977 only!

1982 3+3 2WD 4 Speed manual trans.
When we bought the truck it had a salvage yard 350.
We installed a 468 and use it to pull a 24' enclosed trailer for our race car and general duty stuff when needed.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

That truck woulda been cooler with the modern power and original paint and patina. Stock grille, some west coasts, and a step bumper. Would be the tits.
