Re: 1968
He has two. One is still together and the other one is apart and primed. The way they looked they look like they are in good shape. But when I get there I will see what pictures don't show.

Re: 1968
Today, I cleaned up the parts that I got off Craig List last night.
1 Starter (rebuilt) 1 fuel pump (new) 1 water pump long shaft (new) 1 HEI distrubtor (used) 2 350 cast iron heads (used) So I did not like the satin black on the started and water pump so I painted them orange and black |

Re: 1968
Today, I just couldn't get motivated. I only polish the Chevrolet emblem on the front of the truck. And painted the center red. The orginal color. Or should it be orange? The color of the truck.

Re: 1968
Fridy I am going to the central part of Florida and pick up my new 67 cab. I realy don't need the cab. The price of the cab is 200.00 and I get a ton of parts to go with it. I bought it for the doors.

Re: 1968
LOL! you are going to end up with two complete trucks if you arent carefull. Its expensive enough to finish just one let alone two.

Two trucks. Are you trying to convince your wife "His" and "Hers"?

Re: 1968
I knew the deal on the truck cab was too good to be true. The cab was a small window 67 and it has a lot of issues. But I bought it for the doors anyway. I tried to get just the door but he wanted I think someone to hawl off the cab. I don't know what I am going to do at this point with the otherframe. I am still working on just one for now. But who knows.

Re: 1968
Here is the pictures of the two doors. Oneis in great shape only surface scratches. The second door has a small dent on the outer skin. They are worth more than I paid for the whole cab. I am really satisfied with the purcased, but it would have been better if the cab was in the same shape.

Re: 1968
Yeah man good luck on the step side beds I hope one of them is nice enough to buy, dont comprimise though If its a piece of junk dont buy it but if there is enough nice pieces between the two to make one nice one than tell him you will break it down and take the pieces you want so take the correct tools, and dont forget about the step support braces because they dont make them as an aftermarket part.

Re: 1968
Hello all. Well I made it back from Tampa and had a great time talking to the seller on the step side bed. He is a builder from a long time back. The bed was in great shape. I am pleased. Stoped in at Cracker Barrel and had lunch with My two adophed sons. Was a good day.
