Re: The Project Havoc....
seen them use the patina look on the west coast customs series a while back when they made the rad rod for there clothing brand (think it was called wrench not sure ) they used a verry thin rattle can type layer in between like first coat blackish grey/ charcoal second coat light grey thirth coat colour it made the wear through pop a little more might even use a brown under that as a first coat and only sand slightly throught he charcoal to give a slightly rusty impression

Re: The Project Havoc....
Well since there was a reply on here, I gotta show something, my truck in the snow, how sad. I pulled out the distributor, for something else and got myself a complete MSD ignition, pro billet distributor, 6AL, wires, and coil, gonna be nice. Also, when I was up in edmonton visiting Cory, we decided to build something for my truck.......
A SHEETMETAL RAMJET FUEL INJECTED INTAKE!!!!!!!!!! We are gonna start on the fab soon, will be done for next teardown, sequential fuel injection, 8 injectors, 8 nitrous injectors, megasquirt controller, LS6 throttle body, heavily massaged, tone ring on my camshaft gear..... It will be great.

Re: The Project Havoc....
Your telling me, everytime Cory gets an idea in his head, we run with it, besides I am up for anything.
The Camaro was initially sandblasted, but in the end I sasnded the entire car down. You can not leave it blasted and prime it, the paint will sink back horrible in sheen....... And yes the new plenum will be made of Aluminum, gotta get the pieces cnc'd and then start fabbing, but I needto get a few peices first.

Re: The Project Havoc....
That is really a neat project with the new fuel system, I am excited to see it come together. The reason I had asked about the blasting is I am still undecided whether to take my cab out to the blaster or just sand it and then blast the tight spots with my 50 lb tird blaster!
