Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Long Beds Part II

Well building a car or truck is one step at a time for us normal budgeted people, cool to see the lift, gives an idea of what's coming, nothing but better.

Here are some pics of Big Ugly after the new wheels and tires. I'm pleased with how she looks.

I believe the brand is Iconic, and they are the factory style running boards. ABS plastic with aluminum support on the underside. Pretty sturdy👍

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Long Beds Part II

Thanks madman. I like the way it turned out. I wouldn't mind it a little taller, but I'm battling driveline and pinion angles right now and I believe it would be pushing limits of drive ability and comfort with much more lift.

Thanks,

It needs a good bit of sorting out and will very likely need a new motor soon but IDGAF!!! Imma drop it on its chin and bash the **** out of it until something pops and then a carbed LS will make its way into the mix.

Teaser shot of some new footwear...

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Long Beds Part II

Just picked this one up. Looking at doing the exhaust first. Need some dog-dish caps for the wheels and I got some rust on the roof. Old school body and paint job done sometime ago. 83K miles, original motor, trans, floor pans have been replaced, tailgate rusted up as well.
