+1, The bedliner will cut down on some of the noise, but it will probably not do to much for the heat. For the price, you can't beat the added protection of the insulation, JMHO.

bedliner will do great as far as road noise and heat also from rock damage on the uderside of fenders etc... works great we had a 1934 Ford Sedan we did the lining on all the underside of fenders and it saved them from rock stars and even a tire weight that came off at 80mph on the freeway if the lining wasn't there it would have went throght the fender instead it pushed a reversed dent to the top of the fender and with a hammer wrapped with a rag and a dolly tapped it back in and was back to looking good so i highly suggest it.... as for the inside i would still do the fatmat or dynamat because it makes it real nice inside with the windows up no noise and helps with audio just my 2 cents

To about where the toe board meets the firewall. The original firewall mat/insulation were still in primo shape so I didn't mess with it. My burb has been gutted, so I'll go all the way up on it.

Re: 68 S/C update.....

that is what i was thinking with mine since it is bare as the burb. will you just cut around everything or leave an opening with the brake cluster and circuit breaker box.

Rob...
It appears you used braided flex for your entire fuel line setup. Why not aluminum, say from the pump to the firewall?

The braided lines made it easier connecting all the components. Plus I already had about 15' of the line, .

Sorry late posting answers, I kinda lost this thread.....
