You probably mentioned it somewhere earlier in the thread but I can't remember what fuel tank you went with. 20ish gallons?

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
Its the 31 gal tank. I couldn't fit the 40. I tried but it sat right above the rear diff and was way too close to touching it.

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
Thank you! I wish I had more time and $ to have more attention to detail. For instance, I really wish I could have built a new motor and rebuilt the trans/tcase for this build but for now as time and $ allows, its got to go in as is and hope it runs! This truck is being built to tow and made to work so isn't going to be spotless more of a nice daily driver. That's the plan anyways.
As far as the engine xmember goes, it will be available for purchase once my friend and I finish the plasma table and get things going on making our own parts. I have several designs and so does he so we are going on a joint venture, at least on the weekends to start out Truck related, here is a better look at what the rear 14bolt disc brake conversion brackets are going to look like... I have one being made for prototyping so hopefully I can get it in my hands soon. Was tinkering with motor some more and have some stuff running into each other. I also need to find a way to bend that chrome intake piping to go to the 6.5 intake... More work on the plasma table, we have both been real busy. Still pushing to have it done in May. Here's my buddy. We were both dirty from cutting/grinding/welding and working on it but at least he is enthusiastic! If you look close we finally got all the slat guides welded in.. I am also working on my own version of front d60 brake conversion brackets. The ones I bought need a lot of refinement in my opinion plus they weigh in as pretty expensive.

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
I'd actually be interested in just paying you for the file, I've got a buddy with a plasma table so he can cut it.

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
You wouldn't really be saving any $, I mean we can just cut the flat out for you if you have your own way to bend the parts. I am willing to just sell cut parts. To sell you the dxf I would have to get some sort of non compete agreement b/c I do intend to sell these.

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
I can have them made by my current vendor but that will inflate cost. If you can give me a little time then yeah, I can have exactly what you want for a good price. With or without the buzzard emblem cut in! Actually that will be removed for our actual "company logo."

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
It most certainly does! & I am not sure on your application but designing one to use LS mounts as well. So no adapter brackets needed from dirty dingo or wherever.

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
Once you are done with the brackets for your SRW D60 any interest in making a set for a DRW version? I would be interested. The rotor wouldn't be free floating but I don't care. I'm just interested in the brake upgrade.

Heck if you want to get crazy and make brackets for some kind of D44 upgrade I'll take a set of those too.

Well then we are in luck! I happen to have both of those axles not more than 800 miles from you 😂

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
Excellent I will just take a week off work to try and round them up! I wish it was that easy anyway.
Some progress. Dropped axle to drill holes out for larger 7/16 hardware. Some modifications to my front axle perches are necessary to use the larger hdw so have to update my design. Wish I had the extra $ do drop on some 2" lift springs, I can already tell these 4" ones are going to be too high for me. Painted on the NV4500.. Finished the welds and last bit of parts for the plasma. We rolled her big ass outside, washed it and prepped it for paint. Finally after getting the paint problem sorted, we got some primer on it. Should be ordering controls for it soon! Also my rear brake conversion brackets are due here this week!

Just cut your own brackets for the rear.

Can't cut my own rears... they are milled out of a .75" thick block of mild steel.

Yes he will have upper coil mounts designed. He is also designing it to work with airbags.

Re: Let's Build A 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4
I am liking the front brake upgrades that you have done. I may have to get a set of those brackets off you at some point. I have way too many other things to get done before I can look at that though.
