That is what I wanted to see. It looks like an nice clean install. I like the hood prop rod too.

What time has it turned at the drag strip?

Nice, that's a 24 valve! First time I seen one swapped. Most people just do 12 valvers.... Looks very clean! [/B]

Been "done-ish" for 2 weeks. Still gotta get some slicks and do a little tweaking before it goes down the strip.

Great job on the engine swap Alan! I'm really liking the bars tying everything together. Is there maybe a video in the not to distant future of you and Brian lining up for curiosities' sake?

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II

First picture post. My 1983 Silverado. 350/350. True dual exhaust off of factory manifolds. New tires. Plans are 4/5 lowered. It may be a while before that though. My daily for the last 5 years has been an S10 and 5 years before that a 1995 Nissan p/u. I am enjoying sitting up a little higher for now.

If I didn't have a company truck I would daily it. Haven't drove it enough to get a good check on the fuel mileage, but it should be 20+. The dually got 19 and weighed 7300.

Not a new guy, but back on the site. Had a '91 Crew, now a '77 Short daily driver. Currently in the paint stage, as you can see, primer and missing trim...
