Re: Post "Your" 4x4 pic here..........

Cool site you all have here. Anyway the 'ole chevy 4x4's of 67-69 K20 is my wheels. Have got both within the last 9 months, looking to restore back original. Need a lil help finding a 350 for the 69 that is number matching. Any help on casting and or part numbers would be appreciated.

Re: Post "Your" 4x4 pic here..........

word of advice to all: take good care of your truck

I was excited to have mine to the point of being able to drive and wated to drive it every chance I got.............so since I commute 18 miles one way to work and the cost of gas what it is I decided why not enjoy the drive every day to work and gt some fun from my gas expenditures..............bad decision.
I should have been driving the old beater that I am back in now that morning and kept my pride and joy home. I had actualy set myself up mentaly for just wjhat happened.................I thought months ago "what if i hit a deer..................I should just slam on the brakes and minimize damage by diminishing speed..................so when i came around that corner that is exactly what I did. and i set it into a slide out of control.

Re: Post "Your" 4x4 pic here..........

I did some body work to the pieces I replaced............. but I scored the hood, grill (with trim) letters and chrome bumper for a grand total of 100 dollars and the fine gentleman said; " Glad to see it go to good use!"

It's nice to have people who want to help.
