Such kind words my friend. I do believe you have blown past my old heap in details. I think its time to get caught up if I can ever get back on it.

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Haven't posted too much lately... been enjoying the truck but no major upgrades lately.
I did get caught in the rain a couple weekend ago on the way to a show, so I did a undercarriage clean up & polished the wheels front & back... the cost of getting caught in the rain! I snapped a few pics of some stuff while it was up in the air. Last edited by JWall; 08-15-2016 at 09:51 AM. |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
This truck is the nicest truck I've seen on here, to be honest I think it's even nicer then all those high dollar Sema builds. I would love to see this truck in person.

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Read the thread and got caught up to now. Really nice, clean truck. Glad you kept it in the family. Enjoy watching your upgrades. And BTW, that idea with the black in the door handles fits these trucks perfectly! Brilliant. Those are the subtle details I like the best. Nice work.

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Quick question, where did you get the black scuff pads that sit down in the door sills? I didn't notice when those appeared on the scene but are a great addition.

You may just have to search door sill protectors & see where you can find them. |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Shot of all the air managment equipment... luckily it wasnt too dirty & easy to clean up...
Polished the back sides of the wheels while they were off... Front of wheels polished & all back together... it's pretty much recovered from the rain! |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
I do have a set of inner fender panels from SloshTubz for the truck.
They probably will be a project I do after the show season is over. |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
So, I am guilty of complaining how facebook & instagram killed the forums but I havent posted on here in forever. I am just as guilty of posting on IG & facebook more than here myself.
Not much new with the 76, just getting cleaned up for our yearly indoor show coming up. Here are some pics I'll share.... Not too bad for a 17-18 year old paint job that my Dad did.... |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
I finally did the LED bulb upgrade on the gauges this weekend.
HUGE difference. I did the gauge cluster & ac/heat controls. I wish I could change the radio bulb too but I do plan to change to a retrosound style radio in the future. BEFORE AFTER BULBS USED Last edited by JWall; 03-27-2017 at 09:04 AM. |
