Re: Maggie's Custom
Jason and Maggie. I bought sail sail custom cab trim on ebay, and let's just say the seller did not clearly identify the amount of overspray on them. I've tried chemicals but cannot get the spray off. In a previous post Maggie was working on hers. What did you do? I don't have a problem taping and painting, but did you sand blast or sand them clean?
See you Saturday at Pistons n Paint. Jerry

Re: Maggie's Custom
The chrome!
Pics in the dark because I'm saving the best for last!! The show!! The carb is junk, we learned that when I took it off for the twenty fifth time! I have a new carb on the way, getting the door dents removed this week (so we can install the rest of the trim) and I have to order all the door parts today so I can get all the glass back in!! Thanks for watching!! Jason, Maggie, and John!! I saw on one of those car shows someone saying the last 20% of the build takes 80% of the time!! Without John's help I could have not gotten this far this fast!! When she takes over the truck she has her own list of things she's going to do, this project is far from over!!! |

You guys have this truck looking so good! No matter how many set backs, it is important to remind yourself from time to time of all the things that went right... I fail to do that sometimes myself and get frustrated when something takes longer, or blindsides me. No matter what though, that is one happy looking girl you have there when she is in that truck !
