Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
Thanks guys for all the positive comments. It has been a long and sometimes bumpy road. Jon and I were working late last nite to get the moldings and carpet installed. While working on it I told Jon I was done for the nite.... and an hour and 1/2 later we went home........still need the tailgate band and upper tailgate moldings, and headliner...then it will be all together.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
Gorgeous restoration! Is that a factory paint color? It looks close, but it looks like it's got metallic flake in it. Was that something that was available then? I'm looking to paint mine something like that as well and would love to know the paint code if you know it...
Thanks and great job again! |

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
i see you deviated from the factory options list on a couple items.
why anyone would go with those gawd-awful "sport" mirrors is beyond me. they'd be perfectly fine on a camaro, but they SUCK on my Burb. can't see a darn thing when i want to back up, change lanes, etc. the original tripod mirrors looked to be in good shape....do you still have them (and willing to sell)? i think they are in nicer shape than the pair i already picked up for my truck. |
