Re: post your 67-72 4x4
They're parts store mirrors. I'll probably pick up a set of Ford mirrors to use on those mounts. Eh, the Ford guys have been using our motors forever.
Its all about the functionality. I can't see chit in those peep mirrors, and I'm not a fan of the chevy tow/camper mirrors. |

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Thanks. There are some great looking 4x4s in this thread. I think the silver off white with the red interior is a great combo.
Here is a little more info. The truck was bought new at Shellabarger Chevrolet in Casper. |

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Hey guys, love all the 4x4's...I'm currently working on a 72 k10 myself. I've got a thread about it if you'd like to check it out. I'd appreciate any comments or thoughts you'd have. Thanks

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
heres a few pics from start to "semi finished" on mine, its a tug-a-truck so it dont see very must street time.
[IMG][/IMG]68 frame i started with and 56 inch spring swap from an 85 k30 [IMG][/IMG] before (bottom) after (top) [IMG][/IMG]14 bolt swapped in locked and 4.56's [IMG][/IMG] disk brake conversion [IMG][/IMG]donor truck i picked up for the body [IMG][/IMG]frame completed [IMG][/IMG]cab on [IMG][/IMG]new motor, 406 sbc [IMG][/IMG]motor in and hydraboost brakes done. [IMG][/IMG]how she looks now........ [IMG][/IMG] tires i drive it on when it accually sees the street also i did a complete 73-87 suspension swap just because u cant find lift springs for a 68 and i plan doing a write up how to do it here very soon, not hard at and you will never have a problem finding lift kits again. |

Just secured this 72 K10 from a family member. Unsure if I will keep it or not. But, it does get alot of looks driving around town.
